The following are device specific settings for Moto G devices that may affect notifications.
Battery Optimization
Notifications may not work properly if any power saving mode is enabled, or if power usage is managed in the background.
- Android phone Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > Use Battery Saver should be disabled.
- Android phone Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > Use Adaptive Battery should be disabled.
Notifications
This is where notifications, lock screen notifications, and the notification dot on app icon can be configured.
- Android phone Settings > Notifications > Notifications on lock screen > Show conversations, default, and silent should be enabled.
- Android phone Settings > Notifications > App settings > Signal > All Signal notifications toggle should be enabled.
- Android phone Settings > Notifications > App settings > Signal > Calls toggle should be enabled.
- Android phone Settings > Notifications > App settings > Signal > Allow notifications dot toggle should be enabled.
